This year is really racing away with us isn't it?
Clarity have started to release their new Christmas stamp range so the race to get your cards done for this year can begin. I think we will all be singing carols at the same time as making our cards this year won't we? You can check out the new range HERE.
Barbara's been busy with her workshops again this month at Little Baddow in Essex and then Wollaton in Nottingham. Can you spot yourself in either of these photo's?
Little Baddow, Essex
If you weren't able to attend one of Barbara's workshops this year, don't forget that there are other regular Clarity workshops held around the country by Clarity Designers. To see if there's one in your area please check the Clarity Workshop page for more details.
Hope you had your space booked on the sofa yesterday for the classroom show and again today for the Clarity shows. What a busy Clarity weekend it is!!!!
The lucky winner of the £50 Clarity voucher and our top 5 will be announced tomorrow as there were a few email entries that didn't get submitted by us before the deadline and we need to keep this fair don't we? Apologies to everyone, but you're going to have to contain your excitement for one more day! Could it be you winning the £50 Clarity voucher?
Here's the theme for our new challenge which will run throughout September:
(using Clarity stamps ONLY)
For this one we've decided to go back in time and we'd like you to produce your artwork in a vintage style. We can see you all scratching your heads wondering what on earth you can do, but once you look through the Clarity stamps you will see that there are a lot that lend themselves to this challenge.
The Clarity stamp challenge design team have had their own ideas on this theme too. If you'd like to know which stamps they've used please visit their personal blogs by clicking on their projects.
(Guest Designer - winner from challenge 5)
I'm 48 and I've been making cards and happily stamping since November 2012.
I was feeling a little low so a friend invited me round to watch a couple of DVDs. I expected a chick flick evening but we watched three hours of Barbara Gray. I just knew I had to have a go. shortly after the DVD session I was lucky enough to meet Barbara at the NEC in Birmingham back in November last year. I was so impressed my first stampy craft purchase was made at the Clarity stand. I've never had a boring night since! My partner Grum loves it...... He gets to watch whatever he wants on the TV now (well apart from Clarity time that is!)
Here's Amanda's card for this month's challenge:
There are several ways of entering the challenge:
