Challenge 22

Welcome to December Clarity crafters!

We're on the countdown to Christmas Day now with only 24 more sleeps to go.  Have you been naughty or nice this year?

If you want to join Clarity on the Christmas countdown, Barbara is having advent offers each day on her blog.  Why not pop along and have a look at her fantastic artwork as well as some cheeky little offers too.

Barbara will be on our TV screens this Sunday on Create and Craft so don't forget to have a cuppa ready and waiting at 09.00 for two whole hours of fun, crafting and techniques

The lucky winner of the £50 Clarity voucher and our top 5 will be announced on Wednesday.  Will you be one of the lucky winners?

Here's the theme for our new challenge which will run throughout December:

(using Clarity stamps ONLY)

This seemed quite an apt theme for December, giving you plenty of options with the wonderful array of stamps to choose from.  Will you go for the traditional Christmas tree or choose one of the other stamps instead.  They can all be found in this section on the Clarity website.

You could win a £50 voucher if you are randomly selected as our winner at the end of the month and become our guest designer for the next challenge.

Good luck with the challenge!!

Here is a little bit of inspiration from the design team:

Alison Specht
(Guest Designer - winner from challenge 20)

Hi My name's Alison and I'm an Aussie Brit.  I get loads of comments on my Aussie accent and idioms all over the place.  I've been living back in England for 4 years (via Germany for 2 years).  I'm an English language teacher by day, but by night I'm an avid crafter and have been watching Barbara's YouTube Tuesdays and daily blogs for the last few months.

I enjoy lots of different types of craft including quilling, little bits of embroidery and sewing here and there.  I'm really just a beginner with card and picture making using Clarity products but my obsession is rapidly growing.  I now have a hobby room set up at home where I can spend countless hours ensconced away, completely oblivious to the outside world happily brayering, inking, colouring, stencilling and stamping.  My Clarity stamp collection is growing so large that  have recently been given a handmade rack on which to display them.

When I was asked to be the guest designer for this challenge I was really excited and wanted to come up with a project where I could use many of the techniques I've learnt from Barbara and include a little inspirational twist.  I eventually came up with the idea of drawing some little colourful pears, painting them and attaching them to the pear trees on risers to make them 'pop', along with the wheelbarrow and little bird.

Good luck everyone with this month's challenge and I'm sure you'll have as much fun as I did.
