Challenge 18

The schools have now broken up for their summer holidays and many of you will be setting off on your summer holidays. Fingers crossed the sunny spell continues.

Will you be crafting with your children or grandchildren during the holidays?  Why not get them to enter something into the challenge too?

Have any of you attended one of Barbara's workshops in Crowborough or are you going in August? Everyone had great fun last week especially on the first session when the Duke of Edinburgh landed in a helicopter on the rugby field to attend a local function.

Great friendships are formed through crafting and this was a chance to meet up and put a face to a name.  Let us know if you've formed a friendship through your crafting.

Barbara is back on our TV screens on Sunday 3rd August, between 9am and 11am with the Clarity show. For those of you on facebook, the Clarity fan page will be hosting a live chat so that you can join like minded people at the same time as watching Barbara.  Some of the design team will be on hand too if you wanted to join us.

The lucky winner of the £50 Clarity voucher and our top 5 will be announced on Saturday.  Will you be one of the lucky winners?

Here's the theme for our new challenge which will run throughout August:

(using Clarity stamps ONLY)

This is your chance to really get in touch with your feminine side whether it be flowers or the new elegant lady stencils.  Barbara has shown us so many techniques on the Clarity YouTube channel and on her blog, there must be something you're dying to try!

Here are some inspirational projects from the Clarity Stamp Challenge Design Team.  If you'd like to know which products have been used please visit their personal blogs by clicking on their names.

You could be the winner of this months £50 Clarity voucher.  Sound tempting?

(Guest Designer - winner from challenge 16)

Hi I'm Julie from Northumberland and I love walking my springer spaniel in the countryside.

What a surprise it was winning the last challenge and becoming the guest designer for this challenge. I've always been interested in art, mainly painting and drawing having studied A level art at college and loved it.

My interest in card making began after watching a demonstration at a local garden centre, then I began watching Barbara on Create and Craft.  I have her DVD's which I can follow better than the TV as I'm deaf.

I love stamping and brayering because it gives me a lot of enjoyment and Barbara gives me so much inspiration.

Here's Julie's card for this months challenge

There are several ways of entering the challenge:
  • BLOG - if you have a blog, click on the blue froggy link below and follow the instructions, remembering to link to your blog post and not just your blog
  • EMAIL - if you don't have a blog you can send a photo of your project to us and we'll enter it for you

If you have have any questions relating to this challenge please don't hesitate to contact us.  We will answer as quickly as we can in the hope that we can make the Clarity Stamp Challenge go from strength to strength. We can't do this without you!
